Sports massage at Active Potential Therapy has been really good for helping me recover from games and training sessions. Especially at the start of the week, it’s great just to come in and relieve my muscles – it helps me get as much benefit out of my training as possible.
Any niggles will affect my training, the exercises I do, how much I can lift, etc. In turn this will affect my performance, so sports massage isn’t just helpful for preventing injuries, but also for easing niggles and tightness.
My treatments with Katie have been so beneficial. As a sportsperson, it’s so important to have a therapist who gets deep into the muscles. Katie knows what she’s doing and is really good at it.
Everyone at Active Potential Therapy is really friendly too – the customer service is really good and it’s so nice to have a chat each time I come in!
This summer I’ll be playing a lot of rugby 7’s, and if I play well, hopefully it’ll be a knock on the door to the England team, which is my main goal. I’m looking forward to carrying on with my treatments alongside training and games.
